Area of Focus:
Jean-Marc is a Partner in the audit and assurance services practice of Anton & Chia, LLP. He is primarily responsible for the financial statement audits of the firm’s public and private clients. He also provides client advisory services focused on technical accounting analysis, audit preparation, and financial reporting. In addition to financial statement audits and reviews, his technical specialties include: SEC reporting, accounting for complex debt and equity transactions, derivative accounting, and accounting for business combinations. Jean-Marc also plays a leading role in the firm’s quality control and compliance with PCAOB auditing standards.

Business Experience:
Jean-Marc has over 22 years of professional accounting experience including both public accounting and private industry. He started his accounting career with a national title insurance company where he was quickly promoted to Assistant Vice President in charge of Cash Management and Trust Accounting. Jean-Marc has 16 years of audit and accounting experience working for several large local and national public accounting firms. He has experience with a wide variety of industries including: manufacturing, business services, technology, investment companies, mortgage banking, and property and casualty insurance. For the last 8 years, Jean-Marc has concentrated primarily on working with public companies and companies that want to go public. He has a broad knowledge of SEC reporting and expertise in accounting for equity and debt transactions and reverse mergers.
